Sharm El Sheikh is perfectly located on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, on the coastal strip along the Red Sea. Sometimes, it is called the “City of Peace”, referring to the large number of international peace conferences that have been held there.

Sarm El Sheikh is one of the most stunning and popular deep-sea diving paradises in the world. It gives the Red Sea an international reputation as one of the world’s most amazing diving destinations and one of the finest places for tourists to enjoy the sun, sea and sand as well as hospitality of its residents.

The hotels in Sharm El Sheikh have wide range of selection from inexpensive but with good quality up to the top of the range which are very extensive stretch out along the coast. The most popular hotel is in Nama Bay, the main center and other high quality hotels along the coast from Nabq in the North to Ras Um Sid in the South.

There are many international cuisines at Sharm el sheikh Restaurants. You will have a wide choice from French, Italian or even oriental Egyptian restaurants or Pizzerias besides, including its all Gelaterias and Cafeterias located in the area.

Cultural tours are also exciting. The real Sinai desert trek can be found in Labyrinth/ White canyon located about half an hour drive away from Sharm El Sheikh and past the Ras Mohamed Park. Labyrinth and White Canyons are the results of hundreds of years of water erosion on the ground of soft sandstone. St. Catherine’s monastery was believed to be the site of the burning bush. The fortress that surrounds this monastery was built way back to 6^th century.

Sharm El Sheikh is also loaded with all kinds of amenities that every tourist needs. It includes tourist centers such as casinos, discos and pubs, golf courses and health facilities. And with all its exciting activities and adventures such as diving and snorkelling, windsurfing and other water sports, desert safaris, horses and camel riding and great nearby antiquities attractions, it is almost impossible for a visitor to ever suffer from boredom. Whatever type of person you are, you will surely have something to do in this remarkable peninsula.
