Seychelles is an island country situated to the northeast of Madagascar and approximately 1,600km east of Kenya. The weather is quite humid as the island is small and hot months are from December to April.

Seychelles is a tropical paradise and popular for its immaculate beaches that attract tourists from all over the world. The best beaches are located on the 3 islands of Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. With its soft sand, crystalline water and fresh air are sufficient to calm your body and mind.

Seychelles offers several choices of accommodation depending on your wants and needs. You can choose to stay on their 2-star and 3-star hotels. Hilton and Banyan Tree Seychelles are two of the most beautiful hotels at Seychelles. The latter is where I stayed as it has the most luxurious villas in all the land plus the location overlooking the stunning Intendance Bay. Hilton Resort and Spa is one of the best luxury hotels for the families.

There are at least 3 Seychelles beaches that are highly regarded as the top beaches in Seychelles. The Anse Lazio located at the north western side of the island Praslin has a wide, white sand beach that is backed by the palm and takamaka trees. It is ideal for swimming and snorkelling. You can watch the astonishing sunset while dining at the Anse Laziao Beach Cafe.

Among the popular beach at Mahe is the Beau Vallon Bay as it is near the capital of Victoria and known for its large and crystal clear water. It is best for the families as it offers the most beach facilities. The third of the best Seychelles beaches is found in La Digue, the Anse Source D’Argent. It has pinkish sand and huge granite boulders serve as barriers between the various crescent shaped beaches.

For a food expert like me, I could say that Seychelles has also a great kind of international cuisine and could be line up to other beaches where I have been before. Sea foods are also the greatest masterpiece and are usually prepared in a cari fashion. Large and flavourful tuna and king fish are commonly prepared either fried or grilled in a garlic-butter sauce. Octopus is also a delicacy in Seychelles.
